In Memory of Pets

My beloved cat "Sunshine" who had been my constant companion for the last 16 years died peacefully on Sunday 8th April 2012. Although my husband and I miss him so much I take comfort in the knowledge he was totally spoilt and indulged and had the most fantastic life including the fact that I refused to leave him at night and in all I only spent a total of 19 nights away from him in the whole 16 years. As I live in rented accommodation my husband and I had him cremated and this was paid for totally by my children who were 11 and 12 when Sunshine joined our family in 1996. He was a BIG personality and in 2001 I was diagnosed with MS his pressence was such a joy and then in 2003 - 2006 I could not work due to a downturn in my health he watched over me to the extent of getting me help from next door neighbours when he thought I was in distress. He has left such a HUGE BIG HOLE - his ashes now sit in our bedroom and at the end of my life they will be put into my coffin for eternity.
