I lost my dog a little over a month ago, and it is still difficult. I was starting to feel better, but the weather change has made things a little worse because Mollee loved to be out in the sun, so it's hard to look outside on not see her on the back porch.

My daughter would bring her dog over everyday to see Mollee, and now he just doesn't understand where Mollee is. He looks all around the house for her. It's so difficult when you can't explain to them what has happened. He seems like he is starting to accept it now.

I will keep you and Cane in my prayers. I know how you are feeling, and I am so sorry for your loss.

Shelly

Right now, you both need each other so much...

I think that taking walks together where you can get some fresh air and excercise, where you may be able to throw a ball or play some other game that can act as a bonding time together may help you both..... and help to build Cane's appetite....

Talk to him and let him know that you will be OK, and that you need him to start to feel better as you need him so much may help as well.... out pets know that we need them so much and his knowing that you ned him right now may help him to recover and eat more so that he has more strength to look after you as much as you will be looking after him!

In my thoughts and prayers,

Kerry
