dear jeannie,

so very sorry for your loss of rocky. I wish I could tell you when it will get easier but I can't. what I can tell you is that you are among friends here

we've all been down this sad road

many use this site as a way to share stories and talk with others as they find their way through their grief, others , like me sometimes, just read and reflect.

I wish you light and understanding and hope beautiful memories of your rocky overshadow the pain

Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot to me right now.
Things have got a little better, I try to remember when Rocky was at his best, rather than his last days.
I find in doing this I am able to cope with his loss a little better.
Once again thank you for you kind words and your comfort xx

Jeannie:
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Rocky Roo. None of us can ever say when the sadness is going to go away. Everyone reacts differently, so none of us know when this will ever happen. Just know that you are at the right site because we all understand how you are feeling. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

In love and friendship,
Pat and Steve

when you're ready, I'd love to hear about your Rocky :)

the best thing that you can do is focus on the wonderful,
when Rocky was at his best

- and think about this, life could have landed him anywhere, but he landed with you
and so was this loved and treasured friend, lucky dog/cat (?)

my guys were rescues with personality plus, more love than I deserved and hearts of gold -the fact that they were clown dogs made them all the more dear

they were amazing companions to me for fourteen and sixteen years respectively - I loved traveling this life with them

and I know, sincerely, the hole they can leave when they go

be good to yourself, rocky wants that
