Dear Brenda,
I, too, am sorry for your losses in your beloved furbabies and also understand the giant void of hollowness and pain it leaves in the heart. As you probably know, we lost our 10 yr old beloved Felix the Wondercat (a Somali) to a disease called Triaditus where the liver, gall bladder, and pancreas can all at once become inflammed. He passed to the Rainbow Bridge 2 feb 06 and life has not been the same without him. It broke my husbands heart and my heart in half, and the pain, well, all of you here understand the horrible pain. And coming home to an empty place, well, it is too painful to talk about. So I do feel your sorrow and loss. Though our hearts remain broken, we do know Felix took a piece of our hearts with him to the Bridge and he lives in our hearts and though we have met and will in a couple months bring 2 little kittens home to live with us, we realize that there is room for Felix and for 2 kittens. Felix's memorial will forever be in our home, the light we shine on his box of ashes will shine 24hrs 7days a week.
I do know that Kama, Raccy, and Scotty also share that eternal bond of love with you and they will always be in your heart and they will be there for you when you meet them at the Bridge.
You take good care of yourself ...and I will share with you some words about our loss of Felix on 2 Feb 06 from my Step Mom who lives in England: The Sands of Time are Washed Away by the Renewing Tides of Return.
Peace and blessings to you,
Mary
