I was recently laid off from my job and was unsure of the direction that I wanted to go with my life.

After years of working for a paycheck, I have realized that the paychecks have provided an income, however, they have not brought me happiness and fulfillment in my career. What I have learned is that to obtain happiness and fulfillment in a career there must be a genuine passion for your job.

My passion, desire and motivation is working with and simply being around animals. My employment experience is built upon supervisory, customer service and clerical skills. I decided that I would like to merge my passion with my experience and hoped to find a company that would allow me the opportunity. My quest was to find a veterinary clinic or animal hospital that is in need of an office manager and/or receptionist that would give me the chance with no prior experience working in this type of environment.

This past Friday I found out that one of the animal clinics that I applied to wanted to hire me. I am so very excited about this new direction in my life. This is my small way of giving back to the dog that loved me so unconditionally.

I truly hope that I can make a positive difference in this new career and that happiness and fulfillment will follow. It is in memory of Sable that has guided me to this important point in my life and it is in her memory that I will suceed.

We are so glad to hear about the change in your career. It truly does sound like Sable had something to do with you getting this job. She knows that you have a lot of love to give to other furbabies, whether they are yours or someone else's.

Good luck on this new endeavor.

In love and friendship,
Pat and Steve

Wow!
I am so pleased for you!
I hope that it all works out.

To work for the good of animals is also a dream of mine!

I am still working on my pet "Protective containment" project.

The proceeds of which I hope will provide me with an income and allow me to support my animal welfare charities!

Take care and hugs,

Kerry

Bravo for you!! I salute you for following your heart! I just lost my sweet BamBam 27 days ago. My lifelong dream is to have my own rescue. Some day I hope to be able to give back as much to dogs who need help as BamBam gave to me. I want him to be proud of me as I'm sure your Sable is of you.
