What a lovely story of love and care!
A little stray that you rescued from a life of risk and hardship.... so wonderful!
She is a beautiful girl and she looks so very happy with that heated rice filled pillow.....
We do understand your loss, and so many of us have also gone down that road of care through an illenss.. My little Sammy had CRF (Chronic Renal Failure - adn I too was giving him daily fluids.... and I would do the same again for him in an instant - of course!)
My thoughts are with you!
take good care!

I understand. They look to us to help them out, and how could we simply turn our backs on such a beloved and trusting family member? The sad part of it is that in the end we cannot stop what will be, no matter how hard we try. In the case of our little Baba, I know she trusted us to help her (we had bailed her out so many times before), and it was so hard to see her die knowing there was nothing more that could be done. I don't know why so many cats succumb to renal failure, and I'm sorry to hear your little Sammy died of it. It seems to be a difficult and painful way for them to go. Take care & I hope your next kitty (if there is one) stays healthy for a long long time.
