there's nothing like an older gal!

I have the pleasure of "dog sitting" this weekend with a lovely ten year old girl

she really doesn't know me so well (as I usually travel with a rowdy five year old boy) and only shout a cherry "hello" in the mornings but

after we walked and she ate tonight,we sat down in the garden; she eventually wandered over, sat down and leaned herself against me in the lovliest way

as we sat, I think it was clear to both of us that would have a wonderful weekend

I hope she doesn't miss her folks too much and knows
what a pleasure it is to be with her :)

and she's such a cuddler!

we DID have an absolutely wonderful weekend!

next time though, I think I'll just bring her favorite chair to
my house :) (so she's not so lonely and missing her folks and I won't have to worry and visit her triple the time asked to!)

her family is home tonight; after listening to her mom and dad go on and on about how wonderful it was of me, I could only thank them for the time I got to spend with her

what a pleasure it was to be with my friend sandy :)

Oh Zoo - I so KNOW what you mean!

We have a gorgeous old gal - Meg - a 'bitsa' (bitsa this and bitsa that - which means - a 'no breed' girl) - that we look after - (She belongs to a client of our pet sitting business) - and everyone who looks after her is IN LOVE with her...

She is a funny old doggy - with a winning doggy smile and love to give all round - and when she recently had to have a bit of an ear operation (A bloody clot needed to be excised) we were all hanging on bated breath waiting to hear that she was OK) of course she was .... but I had to ring her "mum' and ask - How is our Meg....

I am getting photo's sent of her with an elizabethan collar (Bucket around her head) that she has had to wear to stop her hurting her ear whilst it heals!

Te 3 carers who have been involved in her care since she becamse one of ours - are always asking - when do I get to look after Meg again....

He he he ... w all just LOVE the older doggie lady that she is!

:)

We LOVE them all!

He he!

ah, a girl like your meg!

and we do friend, right? and the coolest thing is, and I know you agree, that they give us so very much more

she reminded me SO much of my beloved; it was an honor and a privledge to see that one old gal had the best weekend possible (missing her folks and all but surrounded, nonetheless, by all the love she deserved!)

my sweet bear was smiling at me from where she was, because I took my love for her further! :D
