In Memory of Pets

Wishing my Mischief kitty was here to celebrate her birthday with us today. This is her 1st at the Bridge...

We would have spoiled you rotten with your favourite treats, all the brushing you could stand, and if the weather was nice, an accompanied stroll in the garden. I would have let you bask in the sunshine and snooze in the tall shaded grass until you got up, stretched and made your way to the back door.
After a roll on the concrete, and another brushing, you would have meowed to be let back inside. We would have played birthday games for seniors, and had ice cream (just a lick!) We would have snuggled together and if we drifted off for an afternoon nap together, I know you would have let me kiss the top of your head while you slept...

Today the skies are overcast and crying with me because you aren't here. I miss you so very, very much Mischief.
You would have been 19 years young and still our 'Ancient One'. The only solace I have is to picture you restored to health, and holding one heck of a party at the Bridge!

Dearest Kitty: Today marks your second birthday at the Bridge-your 20th Earth Year if you would have been with us today.
The sun is smiling upon us after weeks of unseasonably cold, wet weather. This is the good news...
I got off work early on a Friday afternoon due to an unexpected power outage and happen to be able to wish my girl a very Happy Birthday

Marilyn:
Even though we are a little late, we would like to wish Mischief a very happy birthday. I'm sure that she had a great celebration at the Bridge with all of her buddies there. She is waiting for when it's your time to join her so that she can let you know about all of the celebrations that she is having there.

I still have tears and miss Mischief ever so much.
