In Memory of Pets

Eight years ago today, 3/7/2000, we adopted Donovan. We always treated today like a birthday, since it was the day he was "born" into our family. I made special treats for him and we sang Happy Birthday to him. He has been gone almost 6 months now and my heart still aches. I miss him and long to see him. One more hug, one more kiss, one more walk. My family and I were blessed by his love and friendship. He gave so much love, joy, laughter and happiness in his 7 years of life, more than some people give in their whole lives!! I wanted to say Happy Birthday to him today. I love and miss you Donovan.
