Hey my darlings, it's your birthday today (22nd April). Happy birthday sweethearts. I do hope you're all having fun.

Your Daddy, Paul (my ex husband but also my best mate) is now back with you. I can just imagine the party you had and the tails wagging when you were reunited!! :D I'm so happy you're all together again but naturally we're all sad here that Paul has died. At least he has good health again now :)

Waffle I am sure you're bugging Paul to throw the ball  , Polly you'd be happy just to sit beside your Daddy, and Max you'd be there getting pats with your non-stop tail wagging.

Oh how I miss you all :( I am glad though that Daddy is with you again, as much as it hurt us all to have him go there. Look after each other. Image

I love you all,
Your Mum, Suz xxxxxxxx

Oh Suz,

I did not know you lost your Ex Husband, I am so very sorry for your loss...

It is good to know that he would have been reunited with his furry family and that they are all playing together...

My prayers and thoughts are with you and his friends and family!

Take care,

Kerry

Thanks Kerry.

Yes, sadly, Paul died this month (11 April '10). I'm still coming to terms with it myself. He had a lung condition (caused by places he'd worked years ago), plus he had been a smoker which made the condition worse. He had to be on air 24/7 as he wasn't able to breath properly. I last saw him 20 Feb '10 (I have attached their photo....the date on the photo is wrong, should be 2010). I took Jennie down to visit him as I knew he was not well, not knowing that would be the last time I saw him. He was happy to see her again :)

Yes it would have been a wonderful reunion with Paul, Polly, Waffle & Max (I would love to have been a fly on the wall) :D

Oh Suz,

You have my sympathy.....

He looks happy in the photo.... no doubt - your visit, with his little friend Jenny would ahve been a very welcome treat!

My first partner passed on July 11, 1996 - and I know that when you lose someone with whom you have been married or even just lived and loved, it can hurt very deeply... (even if they were an ex of course)

My thoughts are with you and I do understand.

Take care,

((Hugs))

Kerry

Thanks again Kerry :)

I believe I've had 'messages' from Paul so that is comforting to me, and a girlfriend rang me yesterday also said she has had a dream about him and he was telling her to go to the Dr for a check up. I think that's cool :)

We both believe feathers are a message from above and we have each seen those around us. I remember after Polly and Waffle died I found feathers around.

I have chosen to wear my engagement ring again, to feel close to him. I wore different pieces of jewellery when Polly, Waffle & Max died for the same reason.

Always in my heart :D
Suz
PS I wonder who placed the burning candle on my original posting? Thank you whoever it was :)

Hi Suz,
I understand that. I wear two rings everyday, I rarely take them off.... both belonged to my grandmothers.... one is my maternal mothers engagement ring, which took me years to put on as I would get so emotional, and the other is my maternal granmothers 'friendship' ring from a boy who went to war and never came home..... she knew I could not wear the first , one (Nan's) for years, so when I finally wore it, she took me to her room and took out her jewellery and asked me to start wearing this ring straight away so that I wouldn't have to decide when it was OK to wear sometime in the future...... she passed a few years later and I was grateful to have something of hers on me without that wranch emotionally.... she was a wise woman!

Both of these rings are so precious to me for so many reasons... I only wear them on my ring finger of one hand and my wedding and engagment rings on my left rin finger.... It feels very balanced and 'right' to do so!

I want you to know that I understand your loss of all your babies and the loss of your best mate too...

Take care Suz!

((hugs))

Kerry
