In Memory of Pets

Two weeks ago today we got a new little gray spotted tabby kitty and named him Little Buddy. He is a little sweetheart. We have a feeling our kitty Patches that passed in June had a hand in finding him. Glad we have him.

You Know Gwen, I feel the same way about my Siamese love Tsunami. I lost my Jon-Cat on Halloween, 1993 and I always have known that she had a hand in sending Tsusi
(Tsunami's nickname) to me. She is on the computer now just to be near me and I would not want a world without her.

I have just takrn on new baby... she is special needs kitty....

My Little Girl Flash, one of the kittens that I had caught, desexed and was socialising ready for a new forever home... well, she had a sore looking eye and took her for a visit to the vet.... it transpired that she has a severe cardiomyopathy.... the same condition that claimed my first husand back in 1996...

She was no longer a candidate for rehoming... so she is now mine... I am trying to integrate her into my family of 3 indoors cats, but her heart condition means that we have to take it very, very carefully, as we do not want her scared ... it is so frightening to be able to actually hear her heartbeat when sitting up to 6 feet (2 metres) away when she is stressed....

I know she has come to me because she needs me...

I WAS SITTING BY THE COMPUTER MISSING OREO AND HER BABIES ALOT AND OUR NEW LITTLE KITTY LITTLE BUDDY GOT IN MY LAP AND GAVE A BIG KISS IN THE FACE AND CLUNG TO ME. HE WAS SWEET ENOUGH TO KNOW I NEEDED HIM. THANKYOU LITTLE BUDDY

I'm so glad to hear that you have a new little one to love and he seems already so intuned with you, to sense when you need some kisses and cuddle time from him.

I can just see that loving hug right now, and how it would have helped to melt any cold tight feelings that your greiving was wrapping around your heart...

I finally remembered I posted this about Little Buddy after we got him. He was such a sweet precious loving kitty. He was only four when he died suddenly on Sunday, SEPT.18, 2011. We were really heartbroken. We still miss you alot. Hope you doing ok at the Rainbow Bridge with all the other fur angels. Love you sweetheart
