Hi Tori, Today is my first day on the board & as someone who has recently suffered the loss of a beloved pet, I share in your grief. Tori, I noticed in your first post that you felt guilty at times for not spending enough time with Reggie. Don't blame yourself for this. I'm sure that Reggie cherished every moment that you were able to spend with him, & loved you very much for it.

Tori, there are a lot of little animals out there just waiting to be adopted into loving homes by people just like you. And I'm sure that this is what Reggie would have wanted you to do. So if you haven't already, why don't you consider doing this?

Believe me, I know how much it hurts to lose a pet that has been a part of your life for a long time, but you can love again. God's Blessings on you & your family.

Hello sweet Tori!

I am glad that Mary and I have helped, we have aslo healed each other through some very sad times too.

I want you to know that the love of Reggie, your love for him and his love for you, can and will be available to you again.

Let your heart be open to being cared for and loved. You will feel the love of your boy from wherever he is, and also the knowledge that his unconditional love also means that he will accept you finding another furface to care for and love, and importanantly to get that love in return - Why? - Because Reggie knows that you deserve this, and he would want you to be loved as much as possible!

Take care dear Tori, you are a very special young lady and I am very, very proud to know you!

Take care,

Kerry

Thanks you guys. I would love to adopt another kitty, but unfortunately my mum is against the idea. :( Once I turn 18 the first thing I am going to do is adopt another animal because there are so many that are euthanised daily in shelters and it absolutely makes my heart shatter.

My other animals have helped me get through this terrible time, I also have 2 other cats (Ashley and Pepe Le Peu- Pepe is absolutely lost without his Reggie  ) and a Collie dog named Sally. While I haven't forgot Reggie, and though I never will, my pets have helped ease the pain of losing him.

I think I am doing better, I still do cry at night time and whenever I think of him, but I don't feel so much at a loss because I know that he is still around me, watching over me.

I just want you guys to know that I am enternally grateful for your kind words and caring comments. You were there to listen when nobody else was and I am so happy that there are considerate people like you out in this world.

God bless you all. :)

~Tori

Hello!

Oh well, I'm sure your mother has her reasons for not wanting another cat at this time - but at least you do have your 2 other catsa and you dog to keep you company and give you that companionship.

I really am pleased that you have these furkids because you will help them to deal with their sadness by givivng them the love they need too!

Perhaps you can do a little bit of fundraising, or help out at shelters if you can, that may make you feel like you are contributing... but know that just caring about and helping the animals in your area is doing that as well!

Anyway Tori, I am thinking of you!

Take care (remember Rabbit Face is not that far away - he is locked deeply in you heart, where there is no illness or pain, only your warm love!)

Kerry

Hi Tori,

It is nice to hear from you and I am very happy that someday you are going to get another furbaby. We met our 2 new littel kittens last weekend, and will visit them in a few weeks, and on 28 Oct, they come home with us. They are precious and we love them dearly. Unconditional love is the key, and we discovered that we have room in our hearts for Felix and room for the kittens.

Keep in touch,

Mary
