My beloved 3 1/2 year old cockatiel named Sydney, tragically and suddenly left this earth just under twenty-four hours ago. She left many who loved her and cherished her for the sweet-tempered and fun bird she was. I still can't fathom the fact that she is now gone and my heart is deeply grieving and aching from her loss; I feel like nobody knows exactly how I'm feeling and how much I feel alone right now. I am asking for some sympathy and support while I'm going through this awful time. I just don't understand life and why our loved ones, human or animal, have to leave us suffering alone. :,(

Love Always,

Many people who haven't had the blessing of bonding deeply with a beloved pets do not understand the depth of our grief.
Those of us here know exactly how you feel because we have experienced the same sense of loss ourselves.
It's seems especially tragic when a beloved pet passes at a young age before their time.
Our bonded pets are our special friends, they love us above all others, they don't have the hidden agendas that often cloud our relationships with our fellow humans.
Their love is pure and simple and when they pass they leave an enormous void in our lives.
Be comforted in that Sydney knew that you loved him.

Work like you don't need the money
Love like you've never been hurt, and
Dance like no one is watching.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear Sydney,

We who know and understand the unconditional love of a pet are teh lucky ones, we do suffer at their loss, but their love and just having touched our lives makes us so much better for their having existed.

My heart goes out to you at this time of your loss.

In my thoughts and prayers,

Friends of the heart never truly leave us. They are with us always in all ways.
