This is my (separated) husband's Mum's dog who was sent to heaven 22nd September 2004. We were all with her, with me gently holding her. It was very peaceful. The vet came to the house. She was 14 years old. She had cancer internally, bad arthritis in her back legs and she was unable to walk by herself. It was the kindest thing for her to let her go. She is now back with Paul's Dad who had passed away himself in 2001.
