Hi my Onyx boy, It's been almost 4 months since I gave you that one last hug and kiss. We love and miss you so much. You are such a good boy. You have lots of brothers and sisters up there to play with. I think of you every day, Daddy misses you and loves you so much too.

My sweet boy, It's been 4 months today since you left us. Every day when I come home I still wait for you to come greet me at the door. I miss that sweet look you would give me, the wagging hips (other dogs wag their tails, you always wagged your whole backend almost knocking me over) and the tail just swinging with such strenghth (my friends always used to jokingly say that you could break someone's leg with that tail:)
I miss you, you are in my heart forever and will always be loved and missed. Are you watching over JJ and Jerrie Bubba? I hope Jerrie is not driving you nuts:) I hope you found all your friends. I hope "Rugibutt" found you and you can tell him how much Mom and dad still miss and love him. Love you all.

Onyx - he lay there with such a beautiful presence of tranquility. What a gorgeous boy... I am so sorry for his physical absence from you life - I'm guessing he's snuggling up to you every time you shed a tear and have no doubt he's with all of his friends...

Hi my baby boy,
I can't believe it has been almost 6 months since you left us. I miss you Oni and I love you so much.
The other day I was wearing a jacket that I had not worn since March and I found a couple of your treats in my pocket. You must have been with me that moment and gave me a hint:)
That moment made me very sad because it brought back all the pain of the day that I had to kiss you Good Bye, but it also brought a little smile to my face because I knew you were there with me and I started thinking about some happier days with you.

Tomorrow will mark your 6 month bridge day. I love and miss you sweetheart. I found this poem for you.
Tribute To A Best Friend
Sunlight streams through window pane
unto a spot on the floor....
then I remember,
it's where you used to lie,
but now you are no more.
Our feet walk down a hall of carpet,
and muted echoes sound....
then I remember,
It's where your paws would joyously abound.

My sweet boy,
It's been almost 7 months, since I gave you this last hug and kiss.
Winter is coming and I will have a real hard time when the first snow falls, you loved the snow so much. It was so funny to watch you dig your nose in the snow and then roll around in the snow.
I miss and love you sooo much. Please let Ruger know how much we still miss and love him. Watch over Jerrie Bubba, JJ, Ruger and all the others.

Time really moves on and days, weeks and months go by. We look around and wonder where the time went and wonder how we got here without the presence of our beloved fur children.
They occupy a place in our hearts forever.

Hi Baby,
We miss and love you so much. It was so hard on Christmas and New Year's day eating dinner and not being able to watch you enjoy your special dinner.
I have not been able to give your bed away, so I had stored it in the basement. We have a new Stray kitty and he really loves laying on your bed, he likes to rub up on the corners of your bed and then he will curl up on it and purr. He must really like your scent on the bed. I hope you don't mind that I let him use it (I know you never minded when any of the kitties layed on it, since you preferred sleeping on the futon). I had given your food and water dish and some of your toys to a dog that did not have a whole lot of toys and none of his own food dishes.
Well Oni boy, I hope you, Ruger, Jerrie Bubba, Kimba, Max and all the other beautiful babies are happy and playing with each other.
We miss and love you all so much.

Happy Easter my Oni boy. You know I think and talk of you every day, I love you. Onyx, Mom is bringing home a puppy in two weeks, his name is Raven , but you know that already:), please be his guardian angel and watch over him. You know, my sweet boy, that Mommy and Dad will always love and miss you and Raven will never replace you. I hope you, Ruger, Greifi, JJ, Max, Kimba and Jerrie Bubba had fun in the meadow today. My dear sweet boy,
It's been a while since I came by, but as you know I talk to you every day, Dad and I miss you so much. I know you are watching from the bridge as we brought a new doggy into our life. Raven, he's now almost 16 weeks old and he's got some big paws to fill. I wonder if you hear us calling him Onyx all the time, it just slips out as he has so much of you and Ruger in him. He's our little sunshine just as you were. He's very smart and oh he does so many things like you did them. Oni, sometimes I think you were reborn in this little guy, I definitely know that you had your paws in this, Raven curls his lip up like you did when I talk to him, he takes a few bites of his food and brings it in the livingroom to eat, just like you did. He can be as stubborn as you were at times. Teddy liked him right away, Susie and Jessie wamed up to him pretty quick to, but Nipper our newest stray who never got to meet you, is having a little harder time with Raven, but he is slowly adjusting to him. A lot of the people that we used to walk by and stop for you to greet them, remember you as they see Raven, they all say he's gonna be a big dog like you were, Raven's paws are huge. Raven found two of your tennis balls in the back yard, you must have burried them along the fence, well, my sweet boy, he found them and he loves them. Thank you for leaving him something of yours. He carries the balls around with him and the have become his favorite toy. You know I have you on DC, so every day I visit you and answer blogs for you from other doggies that visit you. Even though your physical presence is gone, you are very much alive and you still make me so happy and you will always be my sweet boy. I love you, Mommy ♥ Always in my heart and on my mind
