My beloved - Daddy and I were remembering when you and Cole lived here with us. And although you now live in our memories we are certain we will all be re-united one day - and we're looking forward to you and Cole meeting each other and being the best of friends! You'll also meet Sarah, a sweet red-haired Cocker Spaniel you and Cole will fall in love with and she with you! Think of all the glorious 'cocker mayhem' you'll get into - and there's also one other little Cocker Spaniel who owned us in the '80s you'll meet. My beloved, where to begin? It's been about a year since I've written here although I do come and look, and remember... and cry. This picture of you taken shortly after after you adopted us makes you look so...young, and sweet and healthy. How could we know that you were in pain even then? How we still mourn for you, our beloved, and it doesn't seem real that you left us almost 2 years ago on valentine's day of all damn days... We wish we had you from a puppy, your life would have been filled with happiness and the best of everything instead of the 2 and a half years. Our several consolations are that we were able to spoil you rotten and give you the best of everything for that short time. We miss your silky fur, the fragrance of your fur, the sound of your nails clicking on the floor, your kisses - everything. One day we'll all be together again, thank God - and you and Q - and Daddy and I will be together with our little Sarah who adopted us a year ago... and we can all live happy and healthy forever. Forever! Forever loved. Until then it's so hard because I think of you every day, of Q every day oh how I love you and miss you... Missing you so much at Christmas Mischief. As this year winds down, and the anniversary of your passing draws nearer, I have had my teary moments and memories of your time with us, which are cherished so. I have the Tuxedo Boy (Lloyd) dozing to my right, as cats do. I think you would have swatted this lanky kid a few times by now-just to be sure he respects his "Elders". Until we meet again Missy! |
