Hello Cinnabar Can you believe nine years have flown by since you left for the Bridge? I remember that last night with you and how much it hurt to realize you wouldn't be coming back... You were such a sick little girl and I never wanted you to suffer. I was grateful that the vet's assistant held you and stroked your head for me; that the last thing you knew was a loving hand. You are remembered and forever cherished. |

I have to think hard to remember days like this one, both of you, your quirks and manners and interactions. You were with me so long that you had different stages, always my guys but different as the day. Maybe some day we will hear the sound of claws and running dogs in the shop again but for now, not. |
