at the beginning of june my beloved georgie was run over. How i have missed him and never a day goes by without a tear being shed. We have spent alot of time debating whether or not to get another dog knowing that one day we would have to go through what we have in the last six weeks again. But at the weekend with help from my three grown up sons we did it. We went and got a puppy. Part of me fills guilty but is BECAUSE of the joy, pleasure and love that we all got from georgie that we did it. Taz is in ever way different from Georgie which is what we wanted. Georgie was 'mad, a unique character'. Taz is a different breed and very lay back. So now some of the laughter has returned to the house and the cats peace and quiet has gone. Only one thing has spoilt the arrival of Taz.. a stupid statement by a friend.. "oh you have replaced Georgie then". How can you ever replace a beloved friend? Please lets all think before we say certain things. Georgie will always be missed and it is because of what he gave to us in his very short life that will make us always think of him. Thank you to all who run this site and those that response to these messages for there support over the past few weeks. My thoughts and prays are with all those who have lost a beloved pet. x x x
