20 yrs ago my husband and I went to our local shelter,,,,looking for a kitten, what we found were 4 little balls of fur in a cage,,,the cutest little things,,,well one of them kinda looked at me with a half-glance,,,and he was the one I took home,,,he was awesome,,,so sweet,, so layed back,,never a bit of a problem,,,well except for the trip to Virginia,,,what a disaster,,,,cause you see"big cat"hated to travel. His life was one of quiet contentment.
Well yesterday my husband and I took another trip with "Big Cat",,, we had to put him to sleep,,,he had been failing for quite awhile and we were both hoping he would just pass away,,,but it was not happening.Yesterday he was just in so much pain,,,,he was crying,,it was time.
It was the most horrible thing I have ever had to do, I always said I would never be able to do it, but for some reason when the time came and I knew I had to do it for his sake I just did it.
Well he is gone now,,,,but he is still in the house all his nooks and crannies, he is always going to be my little pain in the butt,,,I truly loved that little ball of fur,,,who grew to be the most loving feline God ever created.
Thanks for sharing you life with me,,,I will always miss you,,,But now your at peace !!
