Miles(lost count of the #)

Thank you all for your continued support during my difficult time.

Miles was a very special dog (I guess we all feel that way about our furry friends) - My house feels so empty now even though I have another dog and 4 cats - they are just not Miles.

A couple of years ago I had to undergo surgery, when I came home I was on disability for weeks -
my closest friends were Miles and Zosia - Zosia was striken with a neuro disorder while I was on disability but she managed to stay around to make sure I was OK - She was my #1 friend but I had to let her go - therefore Miles became my best friend.

I find it very hard that people outside of the "friends community" can say "Well just get another dog or It's not like you lost a family member"

We know better - For how often when you've had a hard day at work does your precious come over and lick your hand or face? And come on - how often do we eat ice cream out of the container and allow our friend to lick the spoon!

Again I'd just like to say thank you to all you wonderful people for making an unbearable time a little better - Cyn
